Our story

It all begins in a quiet little home in the heart of France. Each bunting banner is a unique creation, carefully handmade with love, patience, and attention to detail.

But before even that, it’s a story of legacy.

My mother taught me how to sew. It was her greatest passion — and when she passed away, she left me her sewing machine and a collection of floral fabrics. In between stitches and memories, La Guirlande Française was born. First as a humble Etsy store, then as a true labor of love.

Today, each garland is a tribute to that inheritance: timeless patterns, joyful colors, and materials chosen for their softness and durability.

We're proud to support and perpetuate products "Made in France". Our fabrics are carefully sourced and printed right here in France. Every stage of creation, from design to final manufacture, is carried out with the utmost care.

Partnership with ESAT Vyv in Nantes

As a creator, I pour my heart into every garland I make. But I’m not alone! I’m incredibly proud to collaborate with the sewing workshop at ESAT Bord de Loire, an Establishment and Service for Work Assistance (Groupe VYV, managed by VYV 3 Pays de la Loire), located in Sainte-Gemmes-sur-Loire.

This establishment supports the professional inclusion of people with disabilities, offering them a meaningful, structured, and supportive work environment.

Our partnership goes far beyond production — it’s a deeply human adventure. Working hand in hand with the workshop team allows me not only to meet growing demand, but also to contribute, in my own way, to a more inclusive economy.

Each garland you receive is the result of a real team effort, crafted with care, skill, and enthusiasm. It’s an honor to work alongside them and to see each person’s talent and dedication shine through in these handmade creations.
